Description: | Barry Kane (Robert Cummings) works in an airplane factory at the start of WWII. When a saboteur named Frye starts a fire, Kane is accused. He flees and tries to track down Frye on his own. He is captured by the police but escapes and takes refuge with a blind man in an isolated cabin. The blind man's granddaughter, Patricia Martin (Patricia Lane) is a model who, at first, tires to turn Kane in. But she comes to believe him. Kane happens upon an entire fifth column of Nazi sympathizers. He infiltrates and is taken to New York. He stops Frye just before he can blow up a battleship, then, with Patricia's help follows him to the Statue of Liberty where Frye falls from the torch to his death and Kane is cleared. |
