Notes:K. is an officer in a bank who is mysteriously arrested one morning. He faces repeated hearings, unhelpful lawyers and all sorts of rabbit trails and distractions without ever discovering what his crime is or even, in fact, who is charging him. His frustration increases until he is finally taken out and killed.

Review - Trial, The

Even the cover copy states that nobody knows if this is supposed to be an existential tale, a parable or a parody of the legal system. The whole point is that life is without point or purpose, but why anybody would want to read a novel about that is beyond me.
