Review - Best in Show
Why I saw it: I heard on the radio that it was one of the funniest movies ever. I asked Kelli if she’d ever seen it and she said she liked it but was afraid to recommend it to me because we have such different tastes.
Brief Synopsis: A “documentary” about several contestants at the Mayflower Dog Show in Philadelphia. All of them are weird and take their dogs way too seriously. During the show, a play-by-play man makes stupid comments.
What I liked about it: Not much. There were a few funny lines, but most of the supposed-to-be-funny lines were dirty.
What I didn’t like about it: Most of the characters were perverted in one way or another.
Bottom line: I gave it a 5. It wasn’t helped at all by the fact that the DVD was messed up and the last third of the movie was pixilated.
