Description:Marshall J.D. Cahill (John Wayne) is often away from home chasing bad guys. His two sons, Danny (17) and Billy Joe (11) fall in with a bad gang led by Fraser (George Kennedy). The bunch, Danny included, get themselves thrown in jail. Billy Joe sets the town stable on fire, then, when everyone is fighting the fire, lets the rest of the gang out of jail. They rob the bank, then lock themselves back up while Billy Joe hides the money. When Cahill gets back, he goes looking for the robbers with the help of his Indian tracker friend Lightfoot. They find four men with a lot of money and arrest them, but Cahill suspects his sons know something. When the boys go for the money, Cahill and Lightfoot follow, knowing Fraser and his gang will reveal themselves. Cahill's sons have a change of heart and want to do the right thing, but in the end, Cahill has to kill Fraser and the other gang members to save his sons.

Review - Cahill U.S. Marshal

It wasn't awful, but it didn't really grab me either. At least the acting was competent, except for George Kennedy who tried to do a gruff accent and then quit a third of the way through the movie.
