Wind Point Lighthouse — Racine, Wisconsin

On Thursday, August 4, we drove up into Wisconsin. We stopped in Racine and bought kringle at a local bakery, then headed out to the Wind Point Lighthouse and ate breakfast by the lake. Nate and Karen came along for the day.

Joshua and Angela looking for stones and shells along Lake Michigan.

Shortly after we began eating, the sun came out. It was a nice day, but it was definitely an August sun. Most of us cowered in the shade of a small bush while Lindy and Nate braved the heat.
