A clever enough idea, and Tim Allen is always good, but the production values are pretty low and the story moves surprisingly slowly.

| Description: | When Scott Calvin (Tim Allen) inadvertently kills Santa on Christmas Eve, he finds himself magically recruited to take his place. His son Charlie is along for the ride and believes, but nobody else does. Over the course of the year, Scott gains weight and grows a beard. Scott's ex-wife and her husband get Scott's parental rights taken away, but when Scott shows up as Santa the next Christmas, even the skeptics believe. |
