| Description: | Connie Ennis (Janet Leigh) is a single mom making do as a comparison shopper. Steve Mason (Robert Mitchum) is a department store clerk who falls for her. When he doesn't get her kicked out of the store, he gets fired. His and Connie's paths keep crossing and they fall in love. Problem is, Connie is already married to safe, but boring Carl Davis (Wendell Corey). When Steve makes his play, Connie reacts by choosing Carl, but she can't pull it off and ends up with Steve. |
