Review - His Private Secretary

This was not a sophisticated movie, and the production values were low indeed. It's also the least subtle movie I think I've ever seen. Many scenes lasted only long enough for the characters to say what needed to be said to advance the plot. This was so obvious, particularly near the end of the movie, that it became funny, apart from the humor in the movie.

John Wayne appeared to be about 18 years old (he was 26), but already had developed his famous walk.

Old and silly as it was, it was still entertaining — especially since it only lasted an hour.
