Description:James Bond (Pierce Brosnan) infiltrates North Korea to investigate a Korean army Colonel who is smuggling diamonds. He is compromised and captured. A year later, he's exchanged for the Colonel's henchman, Zao. He follows Zao to Cuba where he meets Jinx (Halle Berry) an American agent also chasing Zao. He finds evidence that links Zao to Gustave Graves (who turns out to be the Korean Colonel with a facelift). Graves' assistant Miranda Frost (Rosamund Pike) is a British agent who has been turned. It was she that compromised Bond in Korea. Graves is using diamonds to build a satellite with a giant laser weapon. After fights and so forth in Iceland where Zao is killed, Bond and Jinx board the Colonel's jet and manage to kill him and defeat his plan to use the satellite to invade South Korea.

Berry and Pike were pretty good in their roles, but the basic plot was stupid, with an invisible car, a giant laser, horrible CGI and a whiny villain who wore gloves that could zap people. All in all, a pretty lame, unoriginal episode in the Bond series.
