As implausible as it is, it stops just short of ridiculous and makes me really root for McClane.

| Description: | Bruce Willis is Officer John McClane, the only man who stands against a group of terrorists who have taken over a skyscraper. The terrorists are led by Hans Gruber (Alan Rickman) who is pretending to demand the release of terrorist prisoners but is really just after $600 million in bonds. He takes 30 people prisoner, one of them McClane's wife Holly (Bonnie Bedelia) McClane's only ally is Al (Reginald Valjohnson) an L.A. street cop who he contacts on a radio and is the only one who believes in him. After offing the terrorists one by one and getting beat bloody in the process, John manages to save his wife and all the hostages except two. |
