Description:A remake of Thunderball. James Bond (Sean Connery) searches for two nuclear missiles stolen from a U.S. base in England. A matchbook found in the room of a missing military man (who soon turns up dead) leads him to the yacht of the wealthy Maximillian Largo. Largo's girlfriend is Domino (Kim Basinger) is the sister of the dead man. When Bond tells her about her brother, she begins helping him. Largo's fellow-villain, Fatima (Barbara Carrera) makes several attempts on Bond's life before he manages to kill her. He's then captured by Largo who reveals that one missile is in Washington D.C. and the other on the yacht. Bond escapes (of course) and tracks Largo and his men to an underwater cave where they plan on setting off the bomb. (If they ever explained why he was doing this in a cave under the sea off North Africa, I missed it.) Bond defused the bomb. Domino kills Largo. (What she was doing in the cave with an American military force is also never explained.)

Review - Never Say Never Again

There were several plot holes, and Barbara Carrera's character was annoying in the extreme, but otherwise it wasn't so bad. When I first saw this movie, I was 25 and Sean Connery, who was 53, seemed really old. Now I'm 56 and I thought he looked just fine and perfectly capable of being a spy. Hmmm.
