| Description: | Jimmy Stewart plays Hames Haskell, owner of a bankrupt music shop who is forced to go to work for his uncle. This uncle has a running feud with the owner of the boarding house next door. He doesn't like the fact that a band stays there and practices on the roof. Hames joins the band and falls for Molly (Paulette Goddard), the daughter of the housekeeper. There's a lot of silliness involving thrown tomatoes, a radio program, jail and so forth, but in the end, Jimmy gets that girl and all is well. |
