Description:A financier, Philip Adams (Cary Grant) takes a job with NATO so he can have an affair with actress, Anna Kalman (Ingrid Bergman). Adams explains that he is married, but separated, but when Anna finds out he's really a bachelor, she gets angry. She determines to make him jealous, but relents when he comes clean and proposes.

Clever, but it didn't really make much sense. Why was it OK for Anna to have an affair with Philip when she thought he was married but not when she found out he wasn't?
