Description:When two cowboys injure a prostitute, her friends offer a bounty of $1,000 to anybody who will kill them. This attracts a boy calling himself the Scofield Kid, and he in turn, tells an old gunfighter, William Munny (Clint Eastwood) and his partner, Ned Logan (Morgan Freeman). Meanwhile, the sheriff, Little Bill (Gene Hackman) is doing all he can to keep any gunfighters out of town. When the three shoot one of the cowboys, Logan decides he's had enough an leaves. But Little Bill catches him and kills him. Munny sends the kid home (after he kills the other cowboy), then rides into town to kill Little Bill and four of his deputies.

Review - Unforgiven

Compelling but violent and cruel. At the beginning of the movie, Munny is reformed by his (now dead) wife. But as he pursues the cowboys, his old ways of drinking and killing take over. By the end of the movie, he's just evil. Everybody in the movie is seriously flawed in one way or another, which is the point.
