Description:Michele (Joan Crawford) is a wealthy French woman who cares nothing for the war. She is engaged to Robert, an industrialist. When the Germans take Paris, she becomes patriotic, but is shocked to find that Robert is working with the Nazis. She meets Pat (John Wayne) and determines to help him escape from the country. Robert agrees to help. Michele anf Pat meet the plane, but by this time she has learned that Robert is working with the underground, so she returns to Paris to be with him.

I'm not a big fan of Joan Crawford, but I thought she did a good job here. John Wayne was rather unconvincing in his role. It was typical during-the-war propaganda, but there were some funny lines too.
