Description:Charlie Mason (Cary Grant) and Rusty Fleming (Joan Bennett) are in love but too busy having fun as crack Chicago reporters to get married. When Charlie is made city editor, he becomes serious and driven. Rusty moves to New York and gets engaged to a writer. Charlie quits his job and follows. To win her back, he stages a fake incident that attracts firetrucks, police, a mortician, the insane asylum and everything else he can think of to the street outside Rusty's apartment. It works. She comes out to investigate the commotion and they fall in love again.

Too silly to be taken seriously and not done well enough to be hilarious. It was a very early Grant movie, and signs of his great future comedy skills could be seen.
