Review - Rope
Mostly annoying and forced. Joan Chandler is the only bright spot, although Jimmy Stewart's acting was good, as always.

| Description: | Two young men, Brandon (John Dall) and Phillip (Farley Granger) kill a friend just to see what it feels like and to prove they're superior. They invite the dead man's parents, fiancée (Joan Chandler), some friends, and Rupert (James Stewart), their former college professor over for a party. Rupert figures out what has happened and confronts the two, realizing he's partly responsible because of things he taught in his class. The movie ends with the police sirens arriving in the background. |
