Description:Lawyer Humphrey Proudfoot's daughter Cherrie is planning to marry Fred, the playboy son of Alfred Gilbey (Stanley Holloway), who races greyhounds. Proudfoot wants no part of it, so he investigates Fred's past. His investigator mistakenly looks into Alfred's past and finds a string of women. Alfred retaliates by having the investigator look into Proundfoot's past. He thinks he finds a child resulting from an old love affair. It turns out to be false, but all sorts of confusion results. In the end, Proudfoot and Alfred are friends and go into business together and Cherrie and Fred marry.

Audrey Hepburn's first movie. She has a small role as a hotel receptionist.

Review - One Wild Oat

Pretty much just a collection of annoying, unlikable characters talking fast and loud. There was nothing enjoyable about this except the brief look at a very young Audrey Hepburn.
