| Notes: | Stuart is a two-inch tall boy who resembles a mouse. Despite his diminutive stature, Stuart is a dashing, picaresque hero who is confident and courageous. These traits lead him into a series of exciting adventures. COMMENTS — Two children’s books and a guide to English usage is enough for one author on the Carp 500, but if you liked Charlotte’s Web and Stuart Little, you’ll probably also like The Trumpet of the Swan, another of White’s children’s classics. |
