Notes:Rather dry story of three scientists who accidentally get dropped into the deep Atlantic where they find the people of Atlantis thriving. They explore and fall in love, etc. before returning to the surface. But first, Maracot is given powers by the spirit of a dead Atlantean that enables him to destroy the Lord of the Dark Face who has terrorized the earth for 12,000 years, An incredibly stupid episode.

Review - Maracot Deep, The

For most of the way, this is a typical early-SF novel about three men who discover the lost civilization of Atlantis and explore and learn about the people.
