Notes:One day, one of the Twitchell's hens laid a huge egg. It was so big, Nate had to help the hen take care of it. And then the scientist, Dr. Zeimer, found out about it and got all excited. And when the egg finally hatched ... nobody could believe their eyes. For the rest of the year, Nate had adventures like no other 12-year-old boy has ever had!

I know I read this book when I was a kid, but the only thing I could remember about it was the part where some New Hampshire kid said Chicago was in Ohio.
