Review - Ella Minnow Pea
Very clever. As the book progresses, the author stops using the outlawed letters. I agree with Kelli. It was just plain fun to read.

| Notes: | Ella Minnow Pea lives on Nollop Island, a self-governing island off the coast of South Carolina. The Island is named after the man who wrote the sentence: "The quick brown fox jumped over the lazy dog." The statue dedicated to Nollop (which has the sentence inscribed on it) begins dropping its letter tiles and the Council decides this means the inhabitants can no longer use these letters in writing or speaking. |
