Reviews for Captain Blood
Review - Captain Blood
You can always count on Sabatini for a rousing bit of escape reading. the plot doesn't stand up well to a lot of thought, but who cares? It was fun to read.

| Notes: | Why aren’t novels set on the Spanish Main anymore? If you like swashbuckling adventures, you’ll find the career of the dashing Peter Blood — sometime soldier, physician, slave, pirate and finally Royal Governor of Jamaica — irresistible. COMMENTS — And if you like Captain Blood, Rafael Sabatini has written many other adventure novels such as Scaramouche and The Tavern Knight. |
