Read it for a second time in September, 2010. It still seems to drag a great deal in the middle. I've been told this is the worst in the series. We shall see.

I read the first book shortly after it came out and thought it was pretty good, but it took me until now to read the second one, so I must not have been too thrilled. Now that I've read the second one, I have no strong desire to read the next one. I'm not sure why I feel this way. The book are well-written and the characters are pretty good ... But the plots just don't reach me somehow.
