Review - My Father's Dragon

I can see why a kid would enjoy it. The lad was clever and his tricks were funny. I had a bit of a problem with the fact that he ran away from home because he didn't get his way, but I realize it's not intended to be a moral tale.

Comment added by Roger:

I don't have a young child to read it to. The only perspective I could use when reading it was my own.

But a lot of books written for kids are very enjoyable from an adult perspective — Yellow and Pink, Bad Day at Riverbend, Ella Enchanted — so maybe good books are good no matter the age of the reader.
