She takes refuge in The Well of Lost Plots, a place where unpublished books are stored, in the novel Caversham Heights. While there, Thursday is trained as a Jurisfiction agent by Miss Havisham. But her refuge turns out not to be very restful. Aornis Hades is messing with her mind, trying to erase her memories of Landen. Jurisfiction agents are being murdered. |
