I didn't like it nearly as much as Run Silent, Run Deep. I found it dull and repetitive for long stretches.

He has to deal with the incompetence of other captains, a commodore suffering from a brain tumor, faulty mechanics and a spell as a prisoner of a sadistic Japanese captain. |
