Review - Crispin The Cross of Lead

Well-written and exciting. I really liked the character of Bear. My only problem, and the thing that knocked the book down a rating or two, is the plot resolution in the final 10-12 pages. I don't want to ruin the book (it is worth reading), but the way the hero gets out of trouble at the end is simply unbelievable.
