Notes:Fletcher Christian escapes from Pitcairn, rescues Daphne from pirates and returns to England. Over the next 18 years, he flees the law, loves Daphne (now Countess Cleyland) and gives her a son who inherits a dukedom. Impressed several times, he fights at Camperdown, Copenhagen and Trafalgar (he carries Nelso belowdecks). Daphne dies, Christian goes insane and is put in Bedlam. He recovers and confronts Bligh and is pardoned by Sir John Barrow. Interesting concept but unbelieveable and not well-written.
