Why I read the book: His web site is pretty funny.

What the book was about: Photographs of interior decoration schemes from the 1970s with humorous, sarcastic commentary.

What I liked about the book: Some of what he had to say was funny. Almost all the designs were hilariously awful.

What I didn’t like about the book: He got crude at times, and was rarely as funny as he thought he was.

Recommendation: I gave it a 6. If you’re stuck in a room for a while, this book will pass the time, but don’t make any effort to find it.
