Notes:The four boys from Captain Daley's Sunday school class spend a summer at Pudge's uncle's lodge in the woods. Pudge makes money taking campers into the wilderness on his donkey. The boys help a Mr. Jamieson record bird songs. His daughter, Jennifer, wants to go home and takes off by herself and gets lost. The boys find her and lead the whole family to the Lord.

This story hold together pretty well, except to the eccentric old man who wanders in and out searching for treasure from outer space.
