| Notes: | Jeff Lockwood travels up the Mohawk River in New York during the Revolutionary War searching for his father. He soon finds out that the settlers think his father is a traitor who has gone over the the British. He has a few friends — the scout Carl Ives and the Watson family. He stays with the Watsons, learning how to scout, running into bears and Indians. When the Watson's 15-year-old daughter is captured, Jeff follows and rescues her and also finds his father — not a traitor but a spy behind enemy lines. |
