Well-written and interesting when talking about cowboying. The most interesting character in the book was Old Fooler, Dusty's horse that knew how to be the best cowboy horse on earth but frequently went crazy and tried to kill Dusty with some stunt. Once the plot took the two men to town, it was much less interesting.
