My boss asked me to read this because he's looking for material that will appeal to boys. The book is filled with plot-holes and bad dialogue.

But the part that really annoyed me was when one of the boys drugs some guard dogs, sneaks into the thieves warehouse, gets trapped, shoots off some flares to scare the dogs and hears the bad guys talking about whether to kill him. He then prays and God keeps him safe.
