Midly entertaining, but the plot was ridiculous and the ending so beyond belief that the book just got silly.

| Notes: | Thomas Bolton is an investment banker who has risen from the streets. His affluent life suddenly falls apart when he's kidnapped. He escapes, but soon finds himself accused of murdering his boss. Driven to hiding out, his girlfriend threatened, and without money, he begins to put the pieces together. A behind-the-scenes club of top politicians who decide what the country really needs has decided he's a threat. Thomas manages to find the evidence needed to expose them and prevent the assassination of the next president. |
