Reviews for The Road to Oxiana

Review - Road to Oxiana, The

Byron introduces new people and towns without explanation, making it very difficult to keep up with what's going on. He frequent descriptions of mosques and towers and other old ruins were uninteresting and long. His adventures on the roads and with the locals were more enjoyable, but his writing style was understated and sarcastic, so even then it was tough to know exactly what I was reading.
