Notes:Subtitle: How My Mother Raised 10 Kids on 25 Words or Less

Throughout the 50s and 60s, Evelyn Ryan raised 10 kids and dealt with an alcoholic husband. She earned just enough money to squeek by with her winnings from contests for every product from Dr. Pepper to Jello. Through it all, at least according to her daughter Terry who wrote the book, Evelyn managed a positive outlook and sense of humor.
