The history of the 25 men in the Intelligence and Reconnaissance Platoon, 394th Infantry Regiment, 99th Infantry Division who held their position for 18 hours at the start of the Battle of the Bulge, greatly delaying the German offensive. They were eventually taken prisoner and spent the final few months of the war being shipped around Germany ahead of the Allied advance.
