The first several chapters on the parable are thought provoking, but then he slides into Calvinism, Reformed theology and legalism.

| Notes: | A message on the parable of the Prodigal Son. Keller's point is that the younger son, with his rebellion was no worse a sinner than the older son with his reliance on works to gain him favor with the father, and that, in the end, the younger son found it easier to repent. |
