Reviews for Hebrews in the Greek New Testament
Review - Hebrews in the Greek New Testament
Overall probably the best of the works I used in my study of Hebrews, particularly as a word study. Wuest came so close to seeing what I believe to be the correct interpretation, but kept drifting back to the traditional view that the book was written to Jews who were members of the Body of Christ but were in danger of returning to Judaism. In order to make this fit, he had to make chapter 6 hypothetical and do some other gymnastics. But again, at times he stated that that application was only to first-century Jews and not to us — very frustrating.
