Review - Calico Joe
A quick read with several flaws and no real point, but good enough to finish.

| Notes: | Paul Tracey's father, Warren was a pitcher for the Mets, but Paul's favorite player was Joe Castle, rookie phenom for the Cubs. When Warren faced Joe, he couldn't stand the kid. He beaned him in the head and ended his career. Thirty years later, Paul finds out his dad is dying. He hadn't spoken to his dad in years and they had been estranged since he abandoned the family shortly after the incident. Now Paul wants his dad to apologize to Joe. Both men are hesitant at first, but they agree and things go well. Warren dies with all sorts of unresolved issues, including his relationship with Paul, but at least this one thing got straightened out. |
