Notes:A series of comics that take place in Astro City, home to several superheroes and super villains. Each story takes a different perspective on what it's like living in a world with super-powered beings. In one, the Samaritan is stressed out and wishes he could live a normal life. In another, he goes on a date with Winged Victory (think Wonder Woman). They hit it off but don't have time to do anything about it. One's from the perspective of a reporter, another from that of a petty crook and a third from the perspective of a woman rescued. One story is from the perspective of an alien sent to earth to determine whether it's a good candidate for being enslaved.

Review - Astro City: Life in the Big City

I get what he's doing — looking at superhero stories from different perspectives — but I didn't find it very interesting. There's a whole pantheon of heroes but none of them are interesting because they just exist to create background for the perspective stories.
