Notes:A British war ship happens to be on the sea near Greece when an American bomber crashes nearby. It develops that the plane is carrying 15 hydrogen and three atomic bombs. One of the atomic bombs has a mechanism that will set it off if it hears engine noise. That will set off the hydrogen bombs and destroy millions. At the same time, a Greek businessman is rescued from his sinking yacht. Talbot, the commander of the British ship, suspects the Greek knows about the plane. He works with the Americans to discover the Greek is an arms and drug dealer. He also works to bring the atomic bomb from the bottom of the sea and send it off to a safe place on a sailing vessel. At the last minute, the Greek and his associates hijack the sailing vessel and take off. But Talbot, unknown to anyone else, has a device that explodes the bomb and gets rid of the bad guys.

Review - Santorini

A ludicrous plot in which the characters mostly stand around discussing how devilishly clever they all are. Why the Americans would let a British ship do all the work on recovering their bombs — or why 18 bombs would be on a plane flying to Greece in the first place ... Why the Greek bad guys were allowed to wander about the British ship, even after they killed one of the crew who knew too much ... Why Talbot was willing to let the Greek hijack the sailboat and take the chance that something would go wrong and the bomb wouldn't explode ... Just goofy and lazy.
