Notes:The Communists plan to murder Charles de Gaulle and plant evidence that the Americans did it. Sandra Fane is an American working with the Communists, but she wants out. She bargains for her freedom with an offer of evidence, but she'll only give it to Bill Fenner, her ex-husband, who is a reporter in France working on a story. The meet is scheduled to take place in Vienna. Bill goes there and takes along Claire Connor, a young American woman working as an agent. The pretend to be honeymooners and fall in love for real along the way. Their every move is dogged by Communist agents. On the fateful night in Vienna, Claire is captured by the evil mastermind Kalganov. He's just about to kill her when Bill pops in with all the good guys and kills him and rescues Claire.

Reviews for The Venetian Affair

Review - Venetian Affair, The

Way more complicated than my brief review, with tons of superfluous characters, a lot of ridiculous coincidences and some really terrible dialogue thrown in for good measure.
