Review - Fierce Patriot

Basically I learned that Sherman talked a lot, had a dysfunctional marriage, had several affairs, was likable and active, was a brilliant strategist, but didn't want to be top man in any endeavor.

The three-part format to the book was just weird. The author thought himself a clever writer, but his sentences often strayed into poetic nonsense. It took me a long time to get through it because it just wasn't that interesting. Sherman was an interesting man, so it should have been much better.
