Notes:Events of the Revolutionary War in upstate New York centering on the Mohawk Indian Joseph Brant who led most of the Iroquois League to side with the British. The book included the battles of Fort Stanwix and and Oriskany, the attacks in Wyoming Valley and Cherry Valley, and Sullivan's campaign which defeated the Iroquois in battle and destroyed their towns and crops, ending their will and ability to wage war.

Review - Wilderness War (4), The

Well-written but sad. I'm sure there were atrocities on both sides, but the deliberate strategy of the British to encourage the Iroquois to torture and kill noncombatants is inexcusable.
