Review - Dead Wake

Well written, but dry in places, with a lot of details of the lives of random passengers that don't add drama or interest. Oddly, there was a lot about Woodrow Wilson's pursuit of Edith Galt that was going on at the time but had absolutely nothing to do with the ship. The sections at the end on the inquests and possible causes of the second explosion are very short. Larson hints strongly that Britain, and Winston Churchill in particular, deliberately put the Lusitania in danger to bring the United States into the war.
