Review - Era: 1947-1957, The

Not a history as much as a series of essays, with focus on personalities—Durocher, O'Malley, Robinson, DiMaggio. Well written and interesting, with frequent mention of various sportswriters who, according to Kahn, were also participating in the glory years of sportswriting.
