Reviews for Billy Boyle
Review - Billy Boyle
The writing was meh. There wasn't a single moment in the entire book when the plot wasn't implausible and unbelievable.

| Notes: | Billy Boyle is a rookie detective on the Boston police force when WWII breaks out. He happens to be distantly related to General Eisenhower, so he's shipped to England and given the job as Ike's personal investigator. His first job is to visit Norwegian HQ and find a traitor. Soon after he arrives, a Norwegian official is murdered. He hooks up with Daphne, a WAVE, and her Polish boyfriend Kaz to investigate. Billy finally figures out who the murder is, but not before Daphne is killed with a car bomb. Billy chases the criminal to Norway and finds him meeting with the other guy who happens to be the traitor. Billy kills the murderer but lets the traitor go free. Later, he finds out that the traitor was given false info to mislead the Germans and so he did the right thing. |
