Review - Ring for Jeeves
Typical Wodehouse silliness, with typical entertaining dialogue between characters.

| Notes: | Published as The Return of Jeeves in the U.S. Bill Belfry, Earl of Towcester, wants to marry the fair Jill. To get money enough to ask, he becomes a bookie. This works out poorly when a no-chance bet by a Mr. Biggars wins and Bill has to scram. Meanwhile, Bill's sister Monica, meets a wealthy American woman named Mrs. Spottsworth who may be willing to purchase Bill's aging castle. Jeeves is serving Bill as temporary butler and steps in to advise him with his troubles. At the end of the day, Mrs. Spottsworth buys the castle and ship it back to America, and she marries Mr. Biggars in the bargain. With the purchase money, Bill is able to pay Biggars the money he owes him. Jill manages to convince Bill that he can marry her without money. |
